The new cover is pretty cool. I’m with Teresa, you may want to change muscle atrophy to muscle weakness. It seems very off for the time period. Glad to see her finally accept some comfort.

Lots of great information, Danielle. And your writing flowed smoothly until I reached the words, “muscle atrophy”. Not sure what the time setting is, but no matter. For me–as Joe Reader, castles and horses and what my mind was settling into was tripped up immediately by the inclusion of a word that didn’t seem to fit.

Oh, I like the new cover. Great work!

I’m very much enjoying this, glad to see a hint of the knight today (really want to know more about him – I LIKE him)…excellent excerpt! Can’t wait to read more.
